Kandu Roots was founded by Yelyzaveta Shkarupa and Abdulla Adam, combining international perspective with deep local roots in the Maldives. Yelyzaveta is originally from Ukraine, and Abdulla is Maldivian, bringing together global outlook and firsthand local expertise.

Kandu Roots was created to share the true spirit of the Maldives beyond luxury resorts. As a company duly registered in the Republic of Maldives, we work closely with local communities and trusted partners to create meaningful, well-designed travel experiences.
